Mark Wahlberg is selling his Beverly Hills mansion and moving to a much larger place, a custom mega mansion spread out over 30,000 square feet. The actor, his model wife and their four children currently live in a 9,000-square foot home in Beverly Hills with seven bedrooms and 10 bathrooms; but this spacious place doesn’t seem to meet their needs anymore because they have been trying to sell it for a few years now.

According to Yahoo, the couple purchased a new lot a few years ago, spending a reported $8.25 million. Constructing has begun on the new property as they wait for someone to buy the Beverly Hills mansion. They first tried to sell their Beverly Hills mansion in 2008, putting in on the market for nearly $16 million. They put it back on the market last September at nearly $14 million, and still no buyers. The property is back on the market with an asking price of $12.995 million.

The Beverly Hills mansion is a sight to see. Purchased for $4.95 million, the home underwent a few multi-million dollar upgrades, including a commercial-grade kitchen with Viking appliances and marble countertops. The home also features a media room boasting a fireplace, a 2,500-square foot guest house, and a hotel-style pool with a waterfall and cabanas. Interested buyers might also be impressed by Wahlberg’s impressive two-story gym with a boxing ring and a multi-purpose court that can be used for basketball, tennis, or racquetball.
