My current job has been looking rather shakey, our margins are slimming terribly with the gas prices, and my manager has quietly told me that we're probably going to be looking at lay offs. I just talked to someone in Moorestown, and am thinking about taking a position there that should be more stable. I never would have planned on leaving before, but if they're going to need to lay people off, maybe this will be good for everyone.
I need to know some more about the area... I've done a little research so far. It seems like everyone is complaining about living in Moorestown itself. Is there someplace good to live that's nearby? This would be for me and my boyfriend... we want someplace safe, not terribly expensive, and I'd prefer the washer and dryer to be in the unit if possible. Oh right, for now we're only looking at renting.

Don't bother with Marlton Colonial Apartments... can't stand the way the landlord runs it. Don't expect any cuts on utilities or anything else like you'll get elsewhere, and you might have to really fight for your security deposit back. lots of people moving out, good for them.

If you're looking around, though, stay away from Camden County. Traffic is horrible, you really don't wan tto have to drive on route 73 or route 38 around there. Check around Lumberton and Mount Holly... you'll find some really nice homes for decent pricing. I know you're talking about renting, but in this market you really might want to talk with a mortgage specialist and see if owning wouldn't be a better option for you!
