Just moved to Grafton 8 months ago, and I just wanted to let everyone know how happy I am.
Grafton's great if you're into trips. You're an easy drive to PA, DC, MD, and VA.
It feels like living in someplace out of nearly a century ago. Beautiful historic homes, incredibly low crime. You'll feel safe walking around. It's a nice small town feel with good access if you feel like driving in to someplace larger.
The schools have been great. There are so many options that are just being phased out elsewhere, and it's refreshing to see that someone still cares about these values, like music and art classes for our children.
Finally, the housing! wonderful prices, and best of all very flexible ownership options. Many landlords are willing to set you up with a rent to own option that's better than dealing with a traditional mortgage,
Even where they're not, prices are so good, you can work something out for financing that should be in anyone's reach.

I'm glad you like it there... we looked, but it was too small for me. We ended up settling on Morgantown. Clarksburg was another place we looked at, it had a largeish mall, something we lack here, but I don't mind with our selection of stores and restaurants.

You're right, it's a bit on the small side, but it's growing, and in a good nice paced way! This also means there's often jobs to be found if you look, which is a nice thing in our economy.

Thanks for posting! I've been looking in the area, and from what you said, I'll definitely give Grafton a closer look, stop by and visit. It sounds like it could be perfect for my family!
