depends what you want. Port Angeles and Port Townsend are both in the rain shadow, on either side. I'd say Port Angeles gets more rain. Sequim will see less, but it's also smaller than either.

Port Angeles is pretty affordable for housing, not so much in Port Townsend. If you're looking for work, Port Angeles will have more to offer, but if you're young and single, you might find Port Townsend to your liking more. You'll want to be sure to find a job in advance before moving to either, pickings can be slim. Port Angeles does offer some jobs with the National Park (Olympic). There's also work at the paper mills. And Port Townsend can be a bit touristy and artsy.

When I was there a few years ago, Sequim was a nice, smaller town. A few retirees but plenty of younger people too, a nice atmosphere. Plenty to do for someplace small and great countryside. Plus not as much rain as either PA or PT.

If you wanted to you could stick with someplace inbetween Sequim and PA and get the best of both.

Stay away from Sequim. maybe float lived near there once, and it was nice once, but it's turned into an overbloated retirement village that's just going to squalor. They just keep stuffing more people in, it's like a living graveyard. I know it used to be nice, but it's really not so much anymore.

Port Angeles is a nice place for what it is.
